Flowers of Dublin - Ireland

Hi there everyone, yes I am still posting on this blog, my apologies that it is not very often. I keep thinking about closing it down altogether, but then decide it is better to post rarely than not at all. Hopefully my loyal followers will agree. Anyway I take so many photos I need to do something with them.

The post is once again flowers, today ones taken of the wonderful displays in the gardens and streets of Dublin, where I was fortunate enough to recently spend a week.

What an interesting and vibrant city.   I plan to be back soon to share with you more photos of different aspects of Dublin.

Laburnum Arch - Bodnant Gardens - National Trust

It is far far too long since I last posted here, actually back in February. I have so many photos that I do want to share here as I am still travelling and taking loads of photos. Somehow real life keeps getting in the way, but I will continue to post from time to time.

Anyway I am today sharing photographs with you of something from my wishlist! A visit to Bodnant Garden to see the Laburnum Arch in flower. Delighted to say actually managed to organise a trip at the right time this year. These photos were taken on June 3rd and to show how much I have been neglecting my blog I have just found the draft! My apologies for the out of season post, but it seemed a shame to waste this stunning scene, so better late than never.

What a wondrous experience it was. Enjoy and if you have never visited Bodnant Garden at the time the laburnum is in bloom maybe this post will inspire you to do so.

Definitely worth timing a visit to see the Laburnum in bloom.

A very simple one photo post today of a poinsettia that I took in Malta, earlier this year. I just wanted to share the beauty of mother nature. This photograph also appeared in my Instagram stream today.

Bruges - Belgium - Part 2 - Market Day and Cycle Tour of City.

As promised in my last post, here is part two of the trip I made to Bruge last autumn. Today I am sharing photos from Market Day in Bruges and some from a cycle tour we did!

If you are a regular visitor to my Travel Tale Blog you will have noticed how very different this Northern European  Market is to the one I visited in Myanmar.

Cycle Tour of Bruges City 

My visit to Bruges was made by boat, which we hired for a week, as part of a longer road trip driving around France and Belgium. We had bicycles on board which were fun to use for exploring our ports of call! Here is a selection of photos from our exploration of Bruges on two wheels.
