Faces On Friday - Devon - Locals
On my Travels I enjoy taking photos of people, usually to share here. I captured this candid shot of locals chatting in Devon on a trip last year. What fascinates me the most is the length of the man with a beard's fingernails!
Do you think he is a fisherman and the nails help him untangle the nets?

Fisherman or guitar player. Always enjoy your photos.
ReplyDeletethe first thing I saw was the beard, 2nd was the nails. they are longer than most women have. this is a wonderful photo of the two of them. it tells a story with no words.
ReplyDeleteWow, those nails. I agree with Fun60 that he might play the guitar!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. I was drawn to this one, living down here in heavenly Devon! I think the man could well play the guitar, but they do look like fishermen, although it depends where you took the photo!
ReplyDeleteI think the man is a musician or artist! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteAmazing nails and a great shot. Have a good weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteThe beard doesn't mother me so much as does the nails. I don't do long fingernails. It grosses me out!
ReplyDeleteYour candid shots are always so amazingly good.... yeah, the faces are great here, but those nails....isn't it funny the almost inborne prejudices we have ... he looks clean, so really, why does it matter. And yet, I make a judgement without even realizing it....(and here I think of myself as perfect ;>)
